My full slip arrived with that thick polystyrene case around it. As mentioned, does look like the damaged one is missing that.

Maybe they opened his copy at customs or elsewhere and stuck it back in the box without the polystyrene padding Seems unlikely BF just forgot to secure it. In any event, he needs to get a replacement. This cost too much money to settle for damage no matter how minimal.

Yeah there was foam used but it was slightly different.
I'll see if I can find their usual one and compare pics

Oh @chunk I am so sorry to see this happened, this is so stressful
...But Indeed those Premium Releases cost way too much to accept a damaged copy

So this is the foam I've had before

but this is what I got today

It's very shallow(cutting the foam this way makes it more flimsy), if blufan's had sealed it round the edges my cards wouldn't have slipped out and got bent

they were hanging out when I opened the box.. but even if blufan's had taped up the sides the box was really damaged and the steel didn't have much of a chance

My dory arrived with the type of foam padding you got your zootopia in but i noticed in that cudz video he also got the same style padding as you with it being more box like instead of the slide on foam

btw: my zootopia didnt have this foam. SW OAB and SW single lenti were the first blufans packages with this foam.

Here we gooo! Lighting wasn't on my side whilst taking these but I just wanted to share with you guys I personally love the SB itself and the DL is also awesome I suffered a small blow in the fact I have a quite noticeable paint chip on the front of my SB and a few scuff marks to both lenti's unfortunately Blufans QC not up to scratch again (excuse the pun ).

Nevertheless, awesome release from Blufans

Yeah I think it made a difference.. I mentioned to cooey to maybe pass that info on to them

I opened my copy.. it's a really beautiful steelbook.. and the lenti's are great too. My pics don't do it justice though

@chunk - so sorry to see and read about the damaged parcel yeah my double had the same packaging as you and the foam did not feel as secure to hold it in place like the single lenti one did (same as your zootopia pic) Hope you can get something sorted with it

Awesome mickle you've done the package justice with those amazing photos wow!

Sorry to hear about your paint chip.. that does suck! I've explained to cooey that If Blufans want me to send the whole thing back for a replacement I'm gonna keep the damaged one for a few reasons, one being that I could get a steelbook with defects on the next one so I'd rather not risk it.
I opened mine and found the steel to be perfect but like you my double lenti's is scuffed on both sides.. seems to happen a lot I find. But overall (and damage a side) this is an awesome package

Yeah it definitely isn't as secure, I put the foam back in the box to see if it went to the edges but there was half an inch gap at the bottom which meant the foam moved around inside the box allowing the fold out card thing to full out and get bent against the side of the box, and the half an inch gap at the bottom meant that when my box got damaged the box just caved in.. having said that I don't usually receive parcels with this amount of damage, with holes in ..and that is down to the people who handled it after it left Blufans. . Just unlucky this time.. but a great addition to my steelbook collection
