So close... but leaving the fighters out at the bottom is such a fail. It makes the whole poster art.
Maybe they felt guilty and added them on the inside.

They were on a roll with VI & VII
Now VIII comes along, hold my beer

Looks great but also don’t get why they have cropped the ships from the bottom. Also Phasma was such a pointless character I also don’t get why they have put her on the back. I have the same feeling toward her being on the back of the WWA steel for force awakens

They cropped it due to the title placement to be in line with the rest of the steelbooks.
They could've re-composited or changed the relative proportions of the photos to accommodate for the available real estate, but I suppose then it wouldn't be

the original theatrical poster

I like this art, and prefer this version of the poster to the one used on the BluFans release. That said, the missing Crait speeders is a poor choice, and the border/logo still look odd to me on all of these releases. I'm really interested to see what art they use on Ep9, Solo and RO

Phasma has 1 minute and 45 seconds of screen time in TLJ. Putting her anywhere on the cover of a steelbook seems ridiculous to me. But I'm glad some of you like it, since what's done is done. :) Commander D'Acy has exactly the same amount of screen time, so she would have been a good candidate for the cover, too.

It would have been nice if they had gone with Leia... but whatever. I'm more worried about the cropping of the front art than about the rear.
