Just seen on the Tesco listing for this it says:

"Contains both the original theatrical version of each film and the digitally restored and remastered versions."

Interesting...

This is not true. Forget it. Don't even say if only. If this was happening, it would not be announced to the world in a supermarket's product description. Someone has just pasted the 6 disc DVD set's description onto the listing.

I thought that but it doesn't say it on any of their other listings, either for the 6 disc set or the non-steel set of the originals. Would be a nice surprise.

I enjoy 5 out of the 6 films and will love almost every minute of these. However, some of the other steels in this wave have had actual pictures released and they seem to be low quality. I really hope these Star Wars ones aren't

I was hoping these would be individual releases with the Drew Struzan Artwork on the covers but these still look amazing.

I have no idea which country to get - Same covers everywhere - These are too expensive to double dip on. The only pre order I have is on Amazon UK

I am trying to decide too. I cant figure out what is the cheapest way to go on this one. Or best for that matter.

I have cancelled my pre order on the UK one and just gone with the Japan version. I own the 6 disc set and don't want to double dip on this. Hopefully the Japan one has a nice slip too. But who knows I'll probably end up ordering this again at a later date!

Cancelled my order last night. £50 saved right there. Think I will just pick up the US digibook whenever it goes on sale as pretty much all the art is replicated from that and I would rather have the extra discs than not. Not in a hurry to re watch these at the moment either, saw them not so long ago when I rented the set.
