Novamedia lentis are better than blufans

+ you'd have to sell your gotg blufans for a nice loss at ebay while gotg novamedia lenti b more than doubled its value

This is all due to print run, Blufans GOTG had a 4K print run. The Novamedia WWA Choice Edition had a total of 2330 copies, Lenti B with the least copies of the 3 types only 650 copies. So if you want to know the main reason it is worth more you have found your answer. Both BF Lenti's are superior in my opinion and most others, wasn't this SB of the year. Print run dictates a lot, PA's ISTD which was SB of the year can be picked up for less than a ton of PA releases that were done before and after that. Scarcity has the most to due with a steelbooks value than anything IMO. Obviously the title helps but just look at FA, which titles are worth the most, I mean shouldn't The Terminator be worth more than Dracula Untold?

I agree, its mainly due to the different print run and lenti b was only 500 copies btw ;)

i disagree about the lentis tho.. i have both blufans lentis and the novamedia lenti b and imo the novamedia one is lot sharper and overall nicer

As soon as they implement new fullslip paper you will see them over take Nova. Why? Ultimate Editions ... why settle for one lenti when you can have TWO :)
I adopted that mentality when I purchased UE GOTG before later selling it. I plain just don't like blufans as apposed to nova. Theres just something more special about nova and kimchidvd for me personally though thats very subjective.

This, because Blufans Ultimate Editions are more value for the money and the Lentis are on par or even better than others now. Only my opinion, of course...

Understandable, best value for money though is buying a blu-ray in CEX. We buy these because they're rare and exclusive and thats what warrants the extra price tag. Don't forget that blufans are normally far less limited than their competitors. Rare doesn't equate good, but If I'm going for limited, I'd rather the most limited option, not the second most

I think you may be right, I added on 150 copies to all 3 editions because that's how many 1-Clicks were made when I was reading of the print run from somewhere. So that would mean you right and it is even more rare and the total amount of all 3 types made were less than 2K which is a very small amount of a title this popular further making my point why these all sell for more than the Blufans editions. @matthewtheunicorn represents a lot of collectors above when he is talking about limited versions.
I myself will try and buy the most limited copy of a title if the two different companies versions are close in quality. Ebay also sometimes doesn't always represent the smartest collectors but look at the way Deadpool is selling. I think we all pretty much agree the Best Buy version of Deadpool is outclassed by the foreign versions from Italy, Taiwan, Zavvi, ect. which are embossed and glossy. So why are the Best Buy versions selling for 50-100% more? I'm guessing the print run of the Best Buy copy is much smaller than the amount of all the foreign editions. On this one I'm not sure I am just assuming that is the case.

That will only count as 1. Only time multiple copies count as 3 is if it is in a boxset like Transformers, Star Trek, Guardians of Galaxy or Big Hero 6.

Also if u are trying to get 25 releases to get on the list for Star Wars I'm not sure how likely this is as it is for current VIPs. There will be a GB so wait for that announcement at that forum and this. They increased the print run so there will be some available but u will have to get in quick.

* Tripack, counts 3.
* Eg, if a release with 3 different edition, count 3.
