I really don't like Rey's head at the top like that. You kind of have to look hard to see that there is a neck there.
If not, then it looks like it isn't attached to a body.

It also reminds me of the idol in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" for some reason. Perhaps there is too much forehead and the hair is similar. :dunno:

The longer I look at it, the less I like it. Rey's head just doesn't look right.
But what bothers me even more is the inner artwork. It's way too crowded for my taste, especially when we already have a lot of the characters present on the front cover.

Nail on head on both counts. Rey's head just looks wrong, and the interior art is a sloppy, chaotic mess.

I like the symmetry of Luke and Kylo and how they are holding their lightsabers, something that isn't as good visually with the other poster with Rey in Luke's place and Luke at the top... that said, I think the artwork with Luke at the top looks overall better... just a shame she isn't holding the lightsaber like Luke is.

The best version of that poster is Luke at the top i.e. @Noodles concept but tbh I find it a marginal issue that's not going to effect the Steelbook all that much. If they change it great, if they don't it's still the best version to get

That does indeed look 100x better  Small changes but make the world of difference. Maybe/hopefully Blufans will take note as they have done so in the past when they can.
Hopefully Blufans changes it to this, would love that artwork!

YES!!! That is a much better image of Rey. I think the problem with the other image is the long hair. I don't like how it looks. Reminds me of Bib Fortuna and the Rock in one of the Scorpion King images. It's the big forehead with long hair! It just looks.....fake...just...wrong! :yuck:

If they do change it then it has to be hooded luke at the top. Not that other awkward version of Rey. Can’t stand that

But I’m also happy with the current art (hooded Luke would be better though)

Maybe this reveal was just a test, to gauge collectors' opinions? If so...now they have some good ideas of what changes to make. For me--different poster on the front + less busy interior = really good. :)

So many complaints, but when the time comes for group buy...

View attachment 367570

Hardly complaints, just people sharing their opinion critiquing what they'd like changed or how they think it might look better with some changes, kinda like when you post concept images for a steelbook after the actual beauty shot has been unveiled. With some of the questionable images you post for desired steelbook covers I thought you of all people would respect that

As for group buy, I don't think it's gonna be anywhere near a blood bath. When force awakens gb went live there were more than enough to go round.. In fact months later there were group buys on the other site for copies as there was still alot left and that was an overall much more loved movie than this.
