i sent Warners a message asking for clarification as to whether or not Pacific Rim was a steelbook and that i was NOT interested in this item if it was not a steelbook. i supplied them with my order number. what follows is their response:

thanks for the heads up on that. i did use paypal so i should be okay. at least until they hack paypal.

i wouldn't mind them hacking out my debt.

will post pictures when it arrives. if it is an amray i'll be hugely disappointed given their clarification email. they should cover the return costs for that if need be.

Put in an Italian postcode (anyone will do) and it will work, then you need to put your proper postcode onto the delivery address. I think this happens with most oversea address's.

I live in Italy and dvd.it not recommend it for purchase, buy today will see the merchandise next month in Italy so I would not know in other countries.

Okay I'm not sure where to post this, but I just wanted to give a heads up to those who also bought the Sainsbury's steelbooks posted a few days back. All three steels had some minor paint chips on each top left hand corner. Shame.

Same! They were shipped in proper (similar to what Eureka use) steelbook packaging too! I ordered two copies of Bodysnatchers just in case one was damaged, there's a slight scratch on mine but think it's a manufacturing scratch so the second copy will go back and I'll assume it'll go back on sale next week if anyone's looking for one (if they sell it at £8 again that's another question).

Thanks Red! Picked up FDTD and KB... even though I already have way too many editions of each, which was the reason I originally passed on them.

Think my Sainsburys orders arrived today too, but unfortunately I missed the postman so will have to wait until tomorrow now. Glad to hear people are receiving them in great condition though!

Hmm, I don't know if I'm taking the mickey for £6 per steel. It's weird that how all three of my steelbooks have the same paint chip in the top left hand corner.
