I got a voucher code from Zavvi too says at the bottom of the email:
"Discount code not valid on Computing, electronic products, consoles, Multi-buys, Steelbooks & Pre-orders"

Can't we set up a separate thread where users can share these specific discount codes which they're not using? Would be nice if we could keep this thread clean for deals and discounts for everybody.

this has been mentioned by digitalbabe 2 pages back, post #1028.
it's now okay to post personalized codes here, if it has a link to zavvi's page.

The codes are discounts and are relevant to this thread ;)

Yeah of course, I understand that. But this is what it the situation is for me (and I think many members are in the same boat):

I subscribed to this thread so I can get an email notification when there's a price drop on a steelbook or if there's a steelbook back in stock somewhere. Problem is that if there's a really good deal sometime it get's lost and nobody sees it because the last couple pages and my inbox are full with discount codes. Besides that there's this thing that I don't get any further email notifications if I don't click on the link and visit this thread. So that means every time someone posts his discount code (and there have been lots of them lately) a user gets an email, needs to click on the link to visit this thread here, look for any deals he might have been missed and than delete that email.

I know some users are happy to get these discount codes I can totally understand that. That's why I asked for a separate thread so we could keep this one here clean. And people who look for 1-time-only discount codes can subscribe to the other thread. What's wrong with that?

Hey guys-ok, since this is not the first time this issue has come up over the years, we'll try a separate '1 time use code' thread here (also stickied in the Steelbook forum at the top).

Please only post 1 time use codes with a link to the retailer in your post, or your posts will be deleted. Please include all other sales (codes for use by more than one shopper, and ongoing sales, in our current Steelbook Price Drop thread where we are posting now ).

Zebra, make sure you are 'subscribed' to this thread with instant notifications. Generally forums want you to return to visit the site, and that is why you often have to login to get other notices. However, since we recently changed servers, subscriptions may need to be restarted, to be sure you have the best chance to get notices.

Thanks!
DB

I'm not sure, I think total recall is refurbished. Says about item conditions at the bottom of the page

Well, in the new HMV on Oxford Street, London (next to Bond St tube) they have new, sealed Hunger Games steels for just £5.99.
Truly a bargain - they had a fair few of 'em earlier today.

Also, Fopp Covent Garden are pumping out new sealed ET and Trainspotting steels at £6 each, nabbed a Trainspotting if only for the extras. :D

Is that the HMV version? Never heard of this site

i also never heard of this site, are the steelbooks new and sealed

Tried ordering the total recall steel book and it just says problem with there site :(.

I've never heard of it too and I thought I knew all the UK sites, This was posted earlier in the thread so I ordered and it was a sealed mint steelbook when it got to me yesterday.

One warning though - it was posted in a jiffy bag.
