I have such a strong preference for having the original title on the cover that I'm already considering canceling my French release preorder. Very likely it will also have the local title.

Fun factoid: direct translation of "Es" to Finnish is "Se" - and I wouldn't want to have that on the cover of my "Stephen King's It" steelbook, either :naughty:

why all the other releases at the same day like house of wax, cell, Constantine will have English titles but not this one? :(
Because the German releases of those three films have the original title but Stephen King's It has a localised title?

The title will surely be in English as the this has been announced in France, Germany and Italy so far. There is little chance that Warner will produce a slightly different SteelBook for each locality.

If the title on the steelbook itself is in English then I may try and get hold of one. Iconic film, so it would be nice to have. Gives me hopes that someday we will see a Christine steelbook.

I have to admit I've never seen the film. What I do remember, however, are my older siblings going to the neighbor's house to watch It ("Es"). My parents wouldn't let me and all I heard were screams of terror from those watching the film over there.
Now that I'm old enough and still curious about "It", the steelbook is a great opportunity to relive what others have experienced some 20 years ago.

This hadn't dated very well when I watched it recently.

Has that 90's TV movie feel and is quite tame by today's standards. But a must have for my collection as it's such an icon of horror.

Looking forward to seeing what they do with the new remake.
