Pleasantly surprised by this. Was really hoping it would happen before I did a rewatch.

I haven't seen past the first two seasons they released previously on Blu-ray, thought they'd continue, didn't even download the pirate rips. Now I'll have it finally, although I hear the wokeness stupidity virus overtook and ruined it by the end...

I’d say it’s nothing to do with a show having a gay character but more the dealing with that storyline and coming out being more important and extreme than dealing with Vecna destroying the world in 10 minutes lol. Let me just grab every single character together in a circle and waste their time . They deal with Robin being gay much better imo (over time)

That person said it "ruined the show" and your example is one scene where a character comes out as gay. Something that had been built up for the previous three seasons.

The reason why that character came out in that moment was clearly defined and explained in the episode. And if your problem is the writing or timing of the scene, that is different than referring to it as a "woke virus that ruined the show." You and I both know damn well what that phrase means. It's a dog whistle used by disgusting bigots when they get triggered by LGBGQ+ characters existing.

Lenny didn't say, "I heard the writing was bad in the end." He used "woke" as a pejorative.

Oh yeah fair enough I’m not saying it ruined the show. The writing in general ruined the final season but that coming out scene was so fukin stupid man. It’s the end of the world, who cares. Come out after lol

Oh again I fully get that, and that’s not why it annoyed me. Just annoyed me they had to do it the way they did it. But that was the least of my annoyance. The final season although I enjoyed parts and I really enjoyed the final episode they screwed it all up at the same time

I normaly dont buy boxsets of shows but this one has pretty amazing wrap arroud artwork wich sold me immediately. The show is good and it will proberly look amazing on 4k especialy with the arrow treatment. Overall i think its pretty good value for the price

It's a nice looking set, as long as they don't print a billion copies it stands a good chance of at least maintaining its value.
