I never trust anything that says limited edition if the size of the edition isn’t listed and it’s better still if they put a number on each. I said this elsewhere, but as a kid, I collected certain band’s albums and they’d have LTD Ed colored vinyl or picture disks. The problem was that in some cases they were only limited to the number they could sell.

I rewatched these on disc for S1 and S2 when S3 came out, did the same when 4 came out, and ran it back again before 5 came out. I can say each season holds up pretty well with s1 still being the best season and most rewatchable. However despite there being moments in s5... when them powty lips show up on 4k disc with decent bitrate and HDR... I do fear if I'd sit through s5 again ngl.
The wording can mean whatever you want, a collector's edition could match a limited set from another brand but we generally know what Arrow mean when they say limited, different art and it'll eventually go out of stock, which seems a fairly reasonable use of the term as it's literally limited, although you'd assume they're going to print infinity + 1 copies for something as popular as Stranger things was.
It is extremely early but I think it's probably the right choice, the last season was so poorly received it makes sense to sell this before interest wanes.

It's pretty good bang for your back and it proberly hold most of that value if not increased. And agree if they just add some gloss to the box it would step up their game, it's not a major thing to add. Sometimes i feel like special treatment from premiums is overrated i have seen cheap edition with spot gloss embossing etc. Its just that its a low print and limited. Speaking of premiums i almost bought a Lost Boys box the other day with only the fullslip for €225 simly becouse like the artwork and movie. Then this came up and i was comparing the value and price, its ridiculous honestly
i can have this huge 4k set instead of a incomplete limited Lost Boys set for less money that really scratched my head lol.
