Saw the steelbook when I picked up the Departed Steelbook Today

Same front cover as the Canadian Steelbook

Pretty much the same as the last set but new this time is Wrath (unless you consider the first actual release) and the departed.

I didn't pick it up, and forgot to take a picture of it but this is 100%

I wish this one wasn't region locked - I love anything Superman!

Downside to relying on the PS3 for Blu Ray player I suppose!

Generally all Usa/Canada BDs are region A. But that doesn't mean they are 'locked' to that region. So though this disc is technically region A because it is meant for US market, Warner has a history of not 'locking' its discs to region A, which means it will play on players from other regions(ie UK-region B), etc.

I've had the Canadian 1st release for a over a year now. Last week I saw a used copy of the US edition for $7 so I decided to grab it to compare. It's interesting, not only are the colors slightly different but the image placement is off too. Notice how superman's tights and belt rap around the bottom of the US version. Also notice how the US version's back artwork is little more grey while the CA version is more bluish?

So that means that I got the sealed (new) US copy, that came in last week.
Because you can see hardly the belt of Superman, as on the picture on the right above
this post.

I will unseal the Steelbook to add a dutch BR disk, that I already had.
(although I can play all regions). This SB is a nice addition to my superhero Steels ;)

Just to double check your copy - the easiest way to tell is the US release has NO inside artwork. Also the US version has a rating logo on the back in the middle. (See pic)

The spine is different too.

The Canadian release has the Blu-ray logo landscape whereas the US version has it portrait like most other Warner releases. The CA version also has French text berore Bryan Singer's name (although this is covered with the J-card).
