Disappointed that there is no back artwork (n) I'm really hoping for a premium release along with the first one,it definitely deserves the treatment

The "T2" in the title really annoys me, so it doesn't help that they chose to make that bit absolutely gigantic (n)

Apparently the significance of the T2 is explained in the film.

Sidenote - watched the blu ray of the first last night, it's probably the worst disc I own. The sound was terrible and there was what seemed to be lag at some point. Hope we get a decent re-release ahead of this.

Not terribly thrilled with the art choice, but looking forward to this movie.

I'm excited to be getting an orange steelbook (hopefully in gloss), but yeah... not too thrilled about the lack of back art. (n)

Is this a film about T2 (Terminator 2) trainspotters looking out for T2 3D release :LOL:

The Steelbook artwork not to my liking
Hopefully there will be other Steelbooks with different artwork

Can't wait to see this and it doesn't help that the cinema release here in Norway is february 24th. :(

I was so excited for this film, until I saw the trailer. The book "Porno" isn't Welsh's best work so thought Id be able to just enjoy this on its own merits, but to me it all looks a bit desperate based on what has been advertised.

Hoping I'm proven wrong, but after watching one disappointment at the cinema this past week (Split), not in any rush to risk another.

From what I've heard it's like Porno + new material. Since Porno is set 10 years after Trainspotting, and this is now 20 years later, he's incorporating some of those ideas as well as new story.

Can't wait to see the film

Watched the first the other night and had a good ol listen to the soundtrack whilst chilling on my bed last night

Not sure about the steel. Glossy orange steel with debossing would be cool

Trainspotting and Pulp Fiction were the two greatest films of the 90's. So I am incredibly excited for the new film.
Danny Boyle getting back to his roots makes me happy. (Did NOT care for his slide into populist fare like Slumdog and 127 hours).
They need a steelbook to match the earlier Orange, Black, and Grey steelbooks not the later "super orange" steelbook that was crap. So, pass on this design.

Hopefully there will be a German version to match the horizontal steelbook released in Germany. Though it's a different label (Universal vs Sony).

These pre-order prices are getting to be a bit of a joke (as is the RRP on this item of GBP 30 making you think what a wonderful saving you are making . . . ).

Good to see they've at least kept the colour consistent and not difficult to see why they didn't use any of the original poster designs on the steelbook covers (LOL) . . .
Hopefully this original design as inside artwork . . . if not I'll be p*****

ZOOM price = GBP 19.79 after SIGNUP10 code
