Definitely picking this up. Have the steel of the first with Renton on the front. Really enjoyed it last night - achieves the impossible by expanding the characters and advancing the story whilst not damaging the legacy of the original. It looks great too, and the soundtrack works well, given that topping the first is an impossible task!
Deja vu.These pre-order prices are getting to be a bit of a joke (as is the RRP on this item of GBP 30 making you think what a wonderful saving you are making . . . ).
Good to see they've at least kept the colour consistent and not difficult to see why they didn't use any of the original poster designs on the steelbook covers (LOL) . . .
Hopefully this original design as inside artwork . . . if not I'll be p*****

At £20 will wait for a price drop. A lot of UK steels will tumble in price after a few months.
Watched it last night 6 out 10 its got nothing on the original.

Not seen it yet myself - to be honest I read it in an article somewhere (hence 'apparently') but perhaps not.
Originally tentatively entitled TRAINSPOTTING 2 but later changed to T2 to reflect the twenty years between T1 and T2.
Maybe T3 in ten years (lol) . . .
Also tentatively entitled PORNO after the title of the sequel novel to TRAINSPOTTING.
As Danny Boyle said in an interview with Chris Tilly (the Entertainment Editor for IGN) - “We’re mentioning constantly T2 in the hope that James Cameron will become so familiar with that idea that he won’t challenge it in the law courts. But we don’t know yet.”

Watched yesterday afternoon, pass now on this. Couldn't sit through a 2nd viewing. Begbie was the only thing that saved it from being pretty boring.
This is currently £14.99 in Zoom + voucher SIGNUP10 for another 10% off.
£13.49 is a bargain for a new release, wouldn't be shocked to see them sort that price out soon.

Looks like the colour is not so much bright orange as amber (and it also looks to me like the "T2" is de-bossed and glossed).

Back art could still be better, but it's obviously better than before. Both the front and back appear to be debossed, which is a nice touch... and I love the orange, white and black colour combo! The interior is a pretty neat idea too. I've gone ahead and stuck a pre-order in.Release date - 5TH JUNE 2017
