Zavvi has let us know it will be the last one for the collection.

Thanks for the info, but still hardly credible that they can leave out some very highly rated classics:

The Three Caballeros

Make Mine Music (PAL version - it's longer and better)

Fun and Fancy Free

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad

The Sword in The Stone

The Black Cauldron

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

The Great Mouse Detective

All are preferable to Tarzan, and all should be included in a real Disney animated collection.
Uncle Walt would turn in his grave (if he had one) at the idea of a Disney collection without a geat big wodge of Mickey - I know he's in Fantasia, but Fun and Fancy Free is especially important as it's the last time Walt voiced Mickey - and if they really got their finger out they could restore Steamboat Willie and Plane Crazy amongst others for a bonus feature :)

p.s. Whilst I'm bitchin' 'Saludos Amigos' is a brilliant piece too, that probably should have gone out as a double bill with Dumbo as per it's only and last reissue in '49 :)

Is anyone else concerned with how fuzzy the images seem to be? The other posted Disney artworks are more sharp and clearer. Hope the real thing looks better quality.

At first I got worried, but it has been used previously for the amaray, so it's probably just the mockup being oversized. But also the artwork (both the new and old versions) looks different than a lot of the other titles, that might have something to do with it as well.

I like the soft shadows in the original. Aside from the heavy motion blur effect it's much simpler. And it really shows the 'deep canvas' technique that Disney introduced in this film.

I just noticed the UK Blu-ray release of Tarzan the extras are very poor compared to the USA Blu-ray and previous UK 2 disc DVD
I gave away the collectors edition of the 2 Disc DVD a few years ago

Looks like I will have to now buy the USA Blu-ray as well as this steelbook so I have all the extras

Carefull for the US edition ... english track is only DTS MA HD 5.0 ... there is no bass chanel, but all the extras are there !

I'm aware of that about the US Blu-ray English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.0 (It also has English: Dolby Digital 2.0) but extras are important to me and the Slip Case is cool looking

I will be getting Tarzan steelbook as well and its only Dolby Digital 5.1 (Its not lossless English track. Just Dolby Digital 5.1, same as the old DVD)
Extras most are missing with the UK Blu-ray
This steelbook I presume it will have the corrected UK Disc and not the previous disc that had picture flickering problems

Great movie one of my favourites from disney along with beauty and the beast and aladdin I will be buying this as it releases for sure...
