I just cancelled mine this morning. I got an opportunity to grab the Kimchi one and I will wait to see pics in case I want to double dip. I didn't realize these were shipping tomorrow - they almost didn't cancel mine. I'm hoping for a glossy coat - I was also curious to see if these ended up showing up at Best Buy. (Save me $10 shipping)

Pulled my order, for now. Going to wait for the in hand pics. Which we may get sharpish, if we have any prime members waiting on this.

Stock level has taking a slight bump up, 192 at lunch time, currently 243. Which is good news, buys us a little more waiting time.

if it's really 20k print run, like rumours say, i think (and hope) it's no need for hectic. and even if it's not 20k, i dont think this will go OOS so quick.
i wouldnt believe the low in-stock numbers, or care too much about them.

i will order this (and some others from this alliance wave) when the price drops to 15CA$ or below. i guess this can even happen soon (around black friday sales maybe?).

If it is 20K, I really don't think we'd be talking about numbers in the hundreds left in stock - via amazon.ca - if it was that big, then it won't be an amazon.ca exclusive forever - remember, Transformers ROTF was "only" 10K and that didn't sell out for months from Future Shop stores.

i tried to add 100 to my basket, but amazons system only allows me 99, no matter which item i try....

and then, even when it says "190 left in stock" for you, who can assure you that the given statistics are correct?

Hey Wayne are you sure about the "on each title" bit? I don't see the same hype around the other releases. I have ordered 6 out the entire wave and add Turbo Slipcover (to be released on 12/11) to my order. That way I have time to see my fellow ninjas shots before having my order shipped by Amazon.

typically people put 999 in the cart and then it gives the stock numbers.

however, it is not for certain, if I could tell you what steelbooks actually "would" sell out, and that amazon (of any country) is truthful about their stock numbers, then I wouldn't be on hdn.

having said that, since this release is so cheap and I find the Total Recall design appealing as well, it's worth it to me to order these now.

T2 has been in the amazon.ca "top sellers" for a while, and basic logic would say that on a catalog release, they aren't going to print as much as a new release in general - and this steelbook is out tomorrow - not a month from now or 6 months from now, so these are printed already, there is no chance for amazon to up the print run now. What they have is what they have, assuming that they don't magically come back in stock after they sell this round out.

Total Recall has low current stock numbers as well. I would believe Wayne is talking about that one.

Better hope that Amazon doesn't split your order - sometimes they'll mail out the majority of items if you are only waiting on 1.

i agree that T2 is kind of a risky title. you never know... terminator always sells well, i think this title sold billions worldwide already.

on the other hand, did any steelbook of last year's alliance wave sell out?
i can find many of them still on amazon.
