It is one of the biggest thing going against this steelbook reaching true greatness IMHO. The inside artwork is a bit boring also.

while i agree it's a downside,i'd rather not have a re-release. this is the best T2 steelbook

I got this one from a seller on the amazon market place. I had to buy another copy of the extreme dvd edition to get it but it was cheap.

As the lenticular was originally from a DVD set, did you need to trim it to fit?

I did have to but the DVD's slips are actually better because what is trimmed away is the lame critic quotes or disc banners which leaves just the artwork.

Thanks Geek, I may give this a try myself.

The artwork works so much better without any superfluous banners or text. I've noticed they tend to print the blu banners on a lot of 3D bluray lenticulars, it's not a good look, which could be easily avoided with a paper slip.
