All of us are excited about this Steelbook which is fine but can we expect a properly remastered version? This has been released to death but not even a single version looked better as all of them were sourced from an outdated master. Highly doubt if this going happen as there is no news on whether James Cameron is working on it.

Not likely, but I have my fingers crossed it will be the same transfer on T2 V2.

Well seeing as this is going to be a deluxe release, what are the chances of having it sealed with a heavier grade of shrinkwrap that doesn't split apart and separate at the seam like the thin stuff that's been used recently on most Korean steelbooks?

Some collectors do like to leave their copies of rare titles sealed, and it's pretty frustrating when Korean steels turn up with the wrap already split and pulling apart.

Is this something that could be specified or requested?

That is nice, but in my opinion the slip should feature different artwork.
I personally find it annoying when the slipcover art is the same as the amaray sheet, or in this case steelbooks.

If we are fortunate enough to get a full slip, we should vote on a different artwork with a special finish of course.

This is just my input.

Yup that's fine and if I wanted I could cut off the extreme DVD and it will be the same size as the blu ray case.

I wish I had ordered two now. Oh well, as long as the one I did order arrives mint, I'll be very pleased. Hopefully the back writing will be on a slip (or backing card whatever you want, just as long as it isn't print) and the embossing will be awesome.

Not asking much but I like to see 'T2' embossed (and/or skull embossed would be killer) and the two back boxes on clear slipcover.

I wouldn't mind a full clear slip that has the two boxes on the back (special features and whatever the other one is, I can't read it) and also the scoring and technical specs so when removed it's just Arnold in his black shirt.

The front could have something too like Schwarzenegger's name and the T2 Judgement Day on the clear slip so when it's removed just the Terminator is left.

Just a thought.

So We confirmed few things about slipcase and artwork

Here is I discussed with kimchidvd

1. Full slipcase confirmed
As you imagine Avengers metal pack with slipcase from singapore

2. Terminator 2 embossed on Slipcover
Same as Avengers from singapore

3. Post card with steelbook

So I will update preview of slipcover and share with you all for better and best Terminator 2 steelbook

Choi, that's an amazing piece of news! Do you think you can request / influence Tony to get individually numbered steelbooks as well? This could well be the most desired T2 steel in a while
