No more than 1000, limited to 1000 including korean local release.

Rolled out of bed to find multiple pages of reading. I've sacrificed the morning newspaper to catch up on this thread it's gone crazy :hilarious:

Great work Choi for keeping everyone up to date.

Everyone has a different preference to how they would like this to look but i just want this in my collection.

I think the main concern is the print run. The general consensus for all collectors is to keep it limited

I would love this to be used for slip front but all the text in chinease:

terminator_2_1991_1.jpg

That first picture looks so good as a slipcover. Though, instead of Chinese letters it should be Korean, because it is a Korean release. The title 'Terminator 2' should be a dark red, and embossed.

Whatever Kimichi decides I expect it to be something mind blowing. An art that pleases all of us. Also, they should have artwork behind the slip, because the back of the steel is printed.

I wonder if it is possible to have the slip sturdy like Taiwan slips.

This has become a HDN soap opera. :hilarious:

I'm still finding it hard to believe about the print run is only 1000 with the amount of copies that have gone on sale so far.

Bad news about the red boxes. They really suck. Whoever put those on needs a good smack, as special features info always goes on the info card. Thankfully they'll be covered up by either the infocard or the full slip. I'm still against the idea of a full slip for this.

LOL, the drama! ;) :p

Disappointing to hear the info is printed, however it doesn't look that bad to me. Looks quite stylish with the red borders and certainly better than a completely full printed back. The main thing drawing me in is the embossed title and debossed eyes! And of course hoping for something cool to house this in.

I really like the design posted a few pages back with the title in red on the slip, I really think this would look stunning embossed in deep red.

has it been confirmed that the eyes are debossed:drool:

Ordered twice and got a response from Tony saying that he will refund the shipping cost or if I want store credit. Great!

He also said something about a 10K run??? EEK!

Nah, sorry....that last part was just me beeing silly! :D

Did you ask Tony to do that, or got you a email??

By now i believe in 10k :hilarious:

While were discussing steelbooks directly with KimChi, can we raise the issue of the quality of shrink wrap for Korean steels in general? Maybe KimChi can raise the issue with distributors?

I can't understand why the shrink wrap on Korean steels is like cling film. It's so frustrating getting a Korean steelbook delivered with shrink imperfections. There have been a few Korean steelbooks that have been released that have same quality of shrink wrap as Taiwan steels (really thick shrink wrap), so why can't this be applied to all Korean steels?

Sorry for going off topic, but it's one of my biggest pet hates.

I don't think it's going off topic at all bud. Quite relevant actually

Everyone is trying to mold this steelbook into the perfect release and shrinkwrap is a part of the final product. To use that sub-standard shrinkwrap on this would be like wrapping a wedding gift in toilet roll. Just not appropriate!! ;)

Couldn't agree more! The way this steelbook is shaping up, it needs nothing less than top rate shrink wrap. And if that can be confirmed / sorted at this stage, why not ask the question!

Yep, we need to make this the best release possible.
