Yes, it has been confirmed by Choi. The title 'Terminator 2' will be embossed on the slip.

Personally I don't care about embossing on the slip or the slip period...to be politically correct however, I am thrilled for those of you who love your slip covers.

I am still waiting for official confirmation about embossing or debossing for the actual Steelbook.

Since the answer seems elusive I have now written directly to Kimchidvd to get a response to my question. I will post again when I get an answer.

At the moment it is a KimichiDVD exclusive. The production run by Scanavo has already begun.

I don't know whether the title itself will be embossed but there will be embossing and debossing on the Steelbook. This is the question I posed to kimichidvd and following is their response:

Q. Can you please confirm whether or not the Steelbook itself will have embossing and/or debossing please? I am not talking about embossing/debossing on a slip cover but the actual Steelbook.

A. The Both has been embossed and Debossed.

It's confusing on what the print run is. Maybe the demand has been so high that Tony bumped up print runs?

Yeah but the demand rise that fast, because everybody thought it would be a limited [max] 1k run!

as you can see, the artwork is little bit similar to steelbook from german but embossed/debossed is totally different as he explained.

release date will be around end of may. very good artwork (almost same quality as German one), 500 EA exclusive to kimchidvd only.

Hi folks,

everyone discussed total print run is 4k or 1k or more than 1k,
Today I discussed with Tony, he said that he ordered only 1.5K disc so no more than 1.5K

Do not discuss total print run more,

and one more thing, Kimchidvd has stock problem with shopping cart
I mentioned here before, so every night Kimchidvd adjust not paid item (just qty in shopping cart like 100, or 50 etc) after that, stock qty just increased like 112 etc

based on this problem, many of HDN members confused this will be 4k print run. but
this is totally misunderstanding.

please do not guess it is 4k print run. It's not 4k print run as usual in UK & NA
because Korea market is not so big other than any other market even in Asia
so if someone want to print 4K for some famous movie like terminator 2 in Korea,
I'm 100% sure that he will not have chance to get next coming steelbook because there is no buying power for blu ray steelbook in Korea. so overstock problem makes him crazy.

That's why we do not have local steelbook publisher due to scanavo always ask publisher 3K print run as minimum.

Re. the print run, I can't actually find a listing for this title on the Korean version of the site. If it's listed then it certainly doesn't seeem to be in stock/available to order.

Could it be that Kimchidvd have simply re-allocated a far greater % of the run to foreign orders, making it appear as though the total is higher than it actually is? Just a thought...
