For anyone unsealing there copy but wanting the labels. They peel of very easily from the cellophane wrapping. I just peeled them off and placed them directly onto the slip.

I did the same but then got worried that it may become permanently stuck and that I actually didn't want it on the slip, so I peeled it off that and stuck it on the polybag I put it in. As you say it is easily removable and doesn't rip (like my Entertaintment Store sticker did).

tut tut tut, you guys have a looong way to go with this sort of thing hehe, if I were to open it I'd NEVER remove the seal, I'd ALWAYS cut through it from the top (inbetween the slip and the steelbook carefully not to scratch the case) and then slip the steelbook out, voila, but I guess that's a bit too late for you to do now :hilarious:

Glad to see so many people have received their copies . Unfortunately I have not been so lucky and am actually quite confused EEK! Does anyone else have the status shown in the pic below?

As you can see they state a notice has been left although I have not actually received one :(. The postcode being displayed on the tracking is correct, but I have no idea what courier they are using, so I am unable to phone up and confirm they are trying to deliver at the correct address! Also it states a delivery was attempted at 00:41, really?? Unless it is being displayed via the Korean time zone? This is very frustrating!

Edit: What courier have people in the UK received theirs from?

Or do what I did and use a very sharp knife/razor blade and just cut the bottom open to slide the steelbook out and then I put an old steelbook in its place to stop the slip deforming

Kind of wish I'd known about this earlier, as it looks stunning and the cheapest auctions on ebay seem to be about £60 already. Though that may well be a cost price when you include the initial price, shipping, customs etc.

I'll put it on my want list I guess, ha ha!

I do the same but from the bottom :)

We think alike but almost there hehe, you see I would not do it from the bottom on steelbooks tbh as it might end up scratching/scuffing the bottom of the case ;)

Or worse still, the Steelbook could fall out through the bottom in a moment of careless maneuvering off the shelf! :ohno:

There must be a way to source it. Try backtrack al the deliveries and see where you end up. Calling customs office may provide you with a much needed answer to see where you need to submit your charge to before they can finaly release it. Just explain your dilemma. There must be a way to source your package.

Good luck!

I do too but those slip through sleeves are open from the top and bottom so the chances are that you will get minor scratches/scuffs when put it on the stand and/or taking it off it :p

So really all you need to do is just cut it open from the top and you sorted

There free HDN advice to all it's ninjas, thank you thank you no need to  lol

:hilarious: you are obviously really clumsy with you steelbooks (note to self don't buy any steelbooks from DJ :hilarious:)

I don't know how you got the tracking number for parcelforce but thank you very much :). At least I can make some enquiries now!

No problem mate, good luck

On another note I've just had another arrive by non EMS so it probably wasn't worth paying the extra for EMS as it is only 2 days after the other one

My tracking stopped at INCHEON (registered parcel, no ems) but is it possible to track it any further? In the Kimchi DVD -Steelbook Retailer Chat Thread
he could track it till the end:
FYI, the Kimchidvd standard shipping option also provides tracking, as it's actually a Korea Post registered service.

Here's how:
- go to Korea Post English site (http://www.koreapost.go.kr/eng/main/index.jsp)
- select EMS Search from the Quick Menu on the right
- type in your tracking number, select International Registered Item, and click OK
- you get a list of tracking events starting at the post office Kimchidvd is using

Here's what I see for a recent shipment from Kimchidvd:

My national post service (Finland Post) gives me exactly the same tracking event information (worded a bit differently) on their own tracking service site.

No, I didn't have to pay customs duties or VAT even though the parcel was "Handed over to Customs"; foreign parcels to Finland from outside EU always go through customs, they just won't be taxed if the final tax would be less than a fixed limit (5 EUR).

There must be some further tracking as one of my non EMS have arrived and it has added this to the tracking information:

11:45 27-Jun-2013 Arrival at inward office of exchange GBLALA

But the other also says the same and that hasn't arrived yet ? :D
