Well out of 3 parcels i ordered only one has made it through, im awaiting customs letters from parcelforce for the other two. Which i will lay odds on are over £20 each so £40 odd altogether because parcelforce charge an extortionate handling fee.:angry: all were ems shipments by the way never again standard for me from now on.

This is why I never use EMS, as because it is fully tracked it's more likely customs will pick it up as usually tracked mail travels separately, making it not so easy to slip through.

I've ordered loads from Kimchi and never been charged customs. The way to do it is to mark the package as 'Merchandise' (there is no point in trying to make out it's a gift) and then put a value just below your country's current limit. For Terminator 2, I put $20.

BUT... You must make sure to mark the same total on the invoice so if it does get opened there are no discrepancies and they then have no reason to charge or suspect anything.

It's really a sad state of affairs that some of us have to do this (plus I think technically it's illegal). I understand why customs is there and I always pay my way when it's fair (for example I just ordered Rome Blu-ray from amazon.com and have pre-paid the customs charge - as this release is also available in the UK). However for stuff that is not available in the UK, special editions like this it's just not fair we have to pay such an extortionate amount. It's not like we're importing tons of cheap cigarettes!

EDIT: Oh and if using the above method, EMS should be fine to use. I just personally prefer to use standard as Kimchi still send it tracked within Korea (and I think it's priority mail service).

What is a rough price to pick one of these up on ebay, I have seen them listed from around £50-£70, is that a good price for one of these?

My friend won it on ebay yesterday for 50 pounds (free delivery in U.K). So if i were you try to get it very soon because the price will go up. I have the Terminator 2 Uk steelbook but i have to admit the T2 korean steelbook its a beauty (so far one of the best steelbooks releases in 2013, also Roger rabbit is amazing steelbook). So good luck on ebay or order it from Yesasia that comes without the stickers and the cards.

Has anyone in the uk received their's that just had it shipped with standard delivery? I never got an email saying this was shipped but if I log into my account it is marked as despatched

Mine was waiting for me when I got home. I missed the postman but he left it inside the side shed/cupboard. I had a slight panick as the box was badly dented one side. But T2 was fine as Kimichi packaged perfectly :)

Thanks so much Choi, Tony and all Kimichi staff involved as it looks so awesome. I haven't opened it yet as I only saw the film last week.

Now I'm just even more excited about getting more Kimichi exclusives in the future. And oh yh, no customs fee :scat:

08:11 30-Jun-2013 Arrival at inward office of exchange GBLALA

Status of my copy, it was shipped out on the 21st of June

Checked my status this morning and that's what mine said too but then the postie came after lunch and bought me my T2 goodies

I was starting to worry as everyone else seems to have had theirs arrive. Was dreading that they might have hit a customs charge but thankfully not.

Fingers crossed for you that yours arrives tomorrow
