I'm disappointed with the new artwork, primarily because it doesn't match that of the Steelbook releases of the other titles in the franchise.

I wasn't particularly impressed with this film and I'm only getting the Steelbook to satisfy the completist in me. It was essential, therefore, that its artwork blended in with the other titles.

The artwork of the German Media Markt release does match that of the other titles. It also appears to be worldwide exclusive artwork.

I shall, therefore, be cancelling my Zavvi order and joining @merowinger's GB.

the only question with this release is will the title on the spine be written from top to bottom or the other way round as it happened quite a few times with German releases... it's like they can't decide which way they like better

Nope, look at the front cover. In this he has the shotgun up, US/CA it's over his shoulder.

I'm liking that art. Hopefully being a Paramount release it's going to have a nice premium finish with some emboss/deboss going on and some nice gloss paint!

Just make sure that's actually a tittie when you get down there. If it's a Zavvi nipple, then you literally will get shafted in your Z Box

Wow! I actually really like this.
Prefer it to the poster art, and the one of a skull turning to dust that's referenced somewhere on this thread.

And we even get a better pose from Arnold than some versions I've seen. In particular this one.

Emilia Clarke's perky bottom for back art. And Jai Courtney is nowhere in sight! Result.

How about this then ?, it's amazing what you can do in 5 minutes with ms paint, as used by the Terminator 2 steelbook designers , makes this sit along Zavvi T2 a bit better....just for fun of course

Oh yes, I suppose I must state this is "fan artwork" and not official, but if the film studio want it, they can have it....

I meant spine-wise - the original mock-up had a dark spine like all the other recent Terminator U.K. steelbook releases.

Is this going to have a framing border ?
Fine if the image is contained within it like the recent 'T3' but not with this artwork, surely ?

Reading what people on here have said, just pre-ordered this. Never thought before that I could just cancel.

Thats what caused me to lose out on the Age of Ultron steel maddeningly . I wanted to hold on for the final artwork, but it ended up being sold out. Now I'm going to have to go via ebay at inflated prices when it comes out in September or keep an eye on Zavvi's site and hope there's some cancellations. So I decided not to make the same mistake with this.
