Release date was changed to June 30th a few weeks back.

I didn't know, that means zavvi will be going into my OD for this which will cost me an extra £6, i don't think this release was worth £23.99 to me, i was considering cancelling this title before 28th July.. i need to keep a better eye on release dates in future.

If you would had seen it first you probably would not have ordered it in the first place. Maybe zavvi is giving you one last chance to cancel.

Release dates changes happen with Zavvi exclusives
Every release is always a placeholder release date subject to change

What I do is check their website at least once a week to see if any release has had a change of release date

Zavvi should though email mail all customers when this happens like amazon.uk do and they should update the release date in your order
But they don't do this for some reason

I agree they really should update our order accounts with the new dates..like you suggest I will check the zavvi site more often for date changes I'm surprised I didn't notice it here ( this thread) but sometimes the amount of info and so many releases we do miss the odd thing.
do you know if HDN has a thread purely for upcoming steelbooks and their release dates that they update when a titles release is changed? Would be handy to check in on something like that.

one good thing is I may of lost £17.99 this week but I'll get it back on the 28th july, where i'd put it aside.

Totally agree with you, somehow Swimgers snuck by me this week I never saw it coming and I am always checking Zavvi's site.
They really need to update their system to email their customers when dates change on thier existing pre-orders it doesn't do their reputation any good.

As a collector on a budget, i have to write everything down then budget around it, you're right, it's really lacking on zavvi's part to not email their customers when they find out the dates have changed and don't keep us updated. I'm going to go through my zavvi pre orders and see if there are any more changes. I'll also check out the releases thread you mentioned

I dont think the date updates on the order summary, it shows the original date posted when originally ordered. I think the only way is to check the actual item.

Great, thanks I'll do it that way. I'm starting to wonder what decade zavvi are living in, are they completely unaware of the technology available to them in 2014? ? ... Yep they are, they're just to cheap to buy it

i just checked it, since i watched the movie in french the first time, its REMOVABLE! but it doesnt come with english subtitles (if this bothers you)
