I thought normal blu ray disc will upscale to 4k quality on a 4k bluray player.. or maybe i heard wrong

a 4K BD player will upscale regular BDs.

but a regular BD player will play these discs as well.

as for these titles they are still on a 1080p disc...

these are just "mastered at" 4k .... they are not 4k material!

Wonder if they'll patch the ps4 with a 4k upgrade? Anyhow Wreck is right, they are still regular blu rays, but the 4k remaster should make them look better, however, how much better could the Amazing Spiderman get?

I bought this version, just because it was cheaper than the standard bluray at the time! Still need to watch it though (on normal screen though, no fancy 4k monster tv!)

I have nearly perfect vision and have to strain to see the difference.

The upgrade is clear with Ghostbusters, Glory, Men in Black, Spider-man, and Spider-man 2. The rest are either negligible (Taxi Driver and Battle: Los Angeles) or indistinguishable (Total Recall, The Other Guys and The Amazing Spider-Man).
