Isn't it more a case of TNT collecting them from the HMV warehouse, doing nothing with them for a few days before redistributing them to Royal Mail who deliver them to your door?

Of course, it's been a common sight on this forum ever since Play.com started using them. I don't have a problem with them myself. I prefer Royal Mail, but as long as they get to me by release date and aren't damaged, I'm not too fussed.

Just left the bentalls branch of HMV and they have confirmed that this and also the Dark Knight Rises will be the same prices as online, at least for the first few days. thats £15 and £16 respectively. so you dont need to take a chance on their ****** packaging.

Yep. No Brainer for picking up in store. Sick of HMVs damages , delayed deliveries (rarely on release day now) and at least it's the same price in store.
I'll pick up tomorrow as this will likely have a big print run and plenty available

Think I'll do the same for dark knight rises too

That is the case, I work for Royal Mail.....

Just checked my online HMV order details and it said "Item deleted - we are trying to obtain this item from alternate sources"

Yet when you look at the item page its available now for delivery.

Anyone else seen this?

Have no idea what's going on so cancelled the original order and placed a new one. I must be crazy given the comments on here & Bluray.com about HMV online.

(edit: now got the same "Item deleted" message for the 2nd order - looks like buying instore is the best bet for now)
