Why?
Just look @ Hulk and Captain America, they must be like 5+ meters... :( Something went wrong with this artwork[/QUOTE]

Good point - I hadn't noticed that about Hulk. He's like the Ang Lee size in that picture.

2D is the way, and it always will be. ^^ :oohyeah:
Amen to that, I'd take a 2D viewing on my 50inch Kuro TV over any high-end 3D set (even though my HT is fully equipped & 3D-Friendly, but I will never replace my Kuro for any other TV) :D

Saw in some reviews, the 3D effects ain't that great. They are added later in the cutting room with computer effects.

Pre-order prices always start high and will fall down a bit. ;)

I know 3D is not for everyone and believe me there is no more a traditionalist than me but just my personal opinion i tend to enjoy the 3D version more often than not, but i know most don't care for 3D.

I really hope that there will never be a release with this artwork.

I'm glad I'm not the only one the thinks this, with all the money put into this, you'd figure they'd come up with better concept art. So disappointed.

I hope other releases get better artwork.

I always thought it would look better if Iron Man had his helmet on.

What has been seen can't be unseen!
Read this post on your own risk ;)

Let me explain my thoughts in a more optical way..

- Why is Fury so much smaller than Captain America, even if CA is further away from the point of view?
- Although Hulk may be taller than an average sized person, as he is furthest away from the point of view he does look a bit oversized too.

compare_heights.JPG

- It looks like CA is standing next to that building, doesn't it? But his head is as big as a window..

window.JPG

- yellow = Ground
- red (horizontal) = CA's height
- red (diagonal) = How tall CA should be if he'd stay closer to the point of view

CA_is_huge.JPG

Just an attempt, I'm not a specialist, but I'm sure that there's something wrong with this artwork, for sure..

I think an embossed/debossed of The Avengers title/logo would suffice for me, no need to cram in all the characters in such a small space on the front cover, it's too cluttered, make it nice and simple with some elegant effect, that'd be pure awesome, besides we already have all the characters on their movie steels ;)

I doubt it will fall much since its Avengers and 3D. Captain America have been over 30 Euros for 4-5 months now.
