Spanish Disney confirmed yesterday that, besides the standard Bluray and Bluray 3D, they will be releasing "The Avengers" with Steelbook treatment. The Steelbook is released 29th of August and the Bluray and DVD will be included.

Im not happy amazon.es say they sent this friday via city link, but i have not recieved. Spoke to city link today and they say they never recieved it from amazon on friday and its not in there network. So waiting on amazons reply what a joke. And this isnt in stock anymore.

My copy is in Milton Keynes with a delivery date of 6th of September according to the tracking info.

That is the same as mine, on amazon's tracking mine says delivery by the 6th aswell. Amazon have just said i will have it for the 6th and that city link dont have it yet. But it dispatched friday according to amazon. City link say they dont have at the moment anyway. So i dont no whats going off all seems very strange wait till the 6th i guess.

With mine, it was shipped on the 28th, but it even though it said it was with city link the same day, and that they would deliver it on the 29th, it actually took 3 days to reach city link from Spain first. Once they had it, they updated their tracking and it was delivered on the same day. They just posted it as well, which I was pleased with as I was out at the time. So give it a few more days if it was only shipped on Friday.

It is a nice looking Steelbook, though I do wish that it had Marvels: The Avengers printed on it somewhere, either on the spine or within the letter A.

I have a Spanish release. It is also digitally censored (both 2D & 3D) and misses some of the bonus features, such as second screen feature, commentary, music video and 'Assembling the Ultimate Team' feature. I have checked the discs a moment ago.

Your're right, no commentary, no music video.
We just have to wait for the UK or German ones.

The Spanish one is definitely cut, I watched it the other day. It doesn't ruin the film or anything, as it's just the removal of a small special effect. I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't known it was cut in advance, and I saw it in the cinema uncut originally. The same master is being used throughout Europe, so the disc 1 special features and cut of the movie will be the same in every country in Europe.
