Apologies for the bumpage, but did anyone here get the discless DL? Trying to find impressions on it but can't see much around. Contemplating searching for it but not sure if I'd just prefer that art on the original steelbook.

It's good! But I opted to put the discless steel into the original DL slip, which I think makes a better match.

In a turn of events, I ended up deciding I actually wanted the FS of this ME release and none of the CP release as I liked this steelbook too much and wanted the opportunity to mimic the sensation of Robert Pattinson rubbing his stubble along my face. However I realised that it's actually quite hard to find, and after I agreed to buy it from a seller in Canada I realised it was ending up way too expensive with shipping fees + customs. So I ended up buying an OC, and the only other OCs I own are for Dune so it's rare for me. But it seemed like it made more sense to do that and sell off the other slips, or perhaps one and give away the other to a friend. However, now I'm like "oh that DL is very nice", and "that SL looks better than expected and I like the rear a lot", now I believe I want to keep the other slips. I'm normally decided on and happy with one slip, is this what the curse of wanting to buy OCs normally feels like? Maybe I can keep this affliction at bay. It's just a one-off, right?

So you see, I was destined to post in this thread one way or another after all. :naughty:

"and I like the rear a lot"

Some people are into that, others aren't.
Don't beat yourself up, life's too short.

I never usually bought One-Clicks, even when the slips were just $35. Only for favorite movies, like The Fifth Element from Nova, or if everything inside was different, like FilmArena's John Wick, or HDZeta's Sucker Punch, which even contained a 'special' slip not sold separately without any discs, just more booklets and stuff.

Everything being made today, besides an occasional CineMuseum once in 3 years, is basically with the same stuff inside, save for the slip, so it's really dumb buying something three times at once – that's what you should tell yourself. Plus those OC boxes are huge and cumbersome, yeah...
