This looks great, but there is just one thing - in the other photo's from Amazon.de (below) it looks like it could be some sort of digipack rather than a book. The text on the back mentions 24 page bookLET.
Hope I'm wrong (again!) ;)

BUMP!

With the latest photos on Amazon.de, and photos from other sites, I can now confirm that this IS a digibook and have moved it back to the digiBOOK section! :oohyeah:

Thanks for posting the photos softandy. Are the pages actually fixed to the plastic cover, or just in the form of a removable leaflet stored in the case?

Looks really good, too bad it is G1.

I don't think the situation is quite so bad with the G1/G2 problem for digibooks as maybe for steels. We digibook collectors have to some extent come to accept that there is variation in the sizes of the books and even the page orientation with book releases. The Mediabook format is taller that most digibooks, and in fact I've been meaning to mention that the Fnac exclusive releases in Spain, should also probably be referred to as Mediabooks - they are more or less the same height as the German releases from Capelight.

Just my 2 penn'th/cents worth! ;)

I agree, G1 or G2 doesn't bother me. Digibooks vary in size but I don't think of a DVD sized one as wrong or too big. I love the German media books and they are mostly G1 size. One of my favourites is Shutter Island FNAC which Martin kindly got me. That thing is huge but still looks very nice!
