My bird also home to roost but have to return it unfortunately because of cosmetic damage under the shrinkwrap.
Looks lovely from what I can see . . . and cool it's confirmed that they've re-used the same image on the steelbook front as on the Amaray anniversary edition (i.e. not the mock-up steel front art).
Lots and lots of birds on this steelbook - swarms of them - on the front, back and even inside - of course unsurprising considering the title . . .

Original poster art can look really great on steelbook front covers (for example see the set of 10 WB classic titles from January 2013 including "Casablanca" and "North by Northwest") but I don't mind at all that they've gone with this modern artistic and clever "birds Hitch" for the steelbook front and kept the classic poster for the steelbook back
Mr. Hitchcock does appear in various forms on some of the original poster designs so maybe not too strange that we have this modern take of him here on the front (instead of the stars of the picture whom we might expect to see on the front instead of the director).

Bit embarrassed to admit that this is my 4th Blu-ray of "The Birds"
RE: BBFC logos on the spine - From what I can see these are on all the slipcase spines (only bought this one and "Top Gun" so far so not 100% on that . . . but have a few on pre-order from Zoom and waiting for price drops, hopefully, on the others in the collection).
