StudioCanal had nothing to do with Earwig and the Witch and The Boy and the Heron releases so would not get involved in regards to artwork on those releases.

Studiocanal distribution rights for future Studio Ghibli home media releases in UK ended due to legal issues that's why the above films home media releases was with Elysian and not StudioCanal in UK
Elysian even had they tried approach StudioCanal it would have been ignored.

My Neighbour Totoro is getting a cinema re-release by Elysian in UK on August 2 2024

Got mine today from Shout Factory and it has spot gloss finish. I'm shocked at how ugly the UK steelbook turned out.

I have gone for the HMV exclusive 4k slipcover. How can they even justify selling this steelbook? Not only that, but £10 more than the better slip cover edition. I'm getting a bit bored by it all now. What started as a great hobby has just got ridiculous now. It's all a cash grab, and has been that way for a long time now. Such a shame.

That's cool but, sadly, it doesn't include our import duty tax so it'll probably bring it above £50.
Ballz.

I think for that price it's just pushing too far on the wallet. For me at least.

Edit : eBay UK exchange rate has this at £32.77 and £3.74.
Even more likely it'll push £50 after customs tax.

I'm not sure if I'm going to do this or not yet but at checkout I get this. Personally I've never paid any extra customs charges on US orders, certainly not in recent memory.

You only pay customs tax if the item(s) are above £135 bud.

I have. They're fine until they're not I.e. difficult to navigate the AI customer service stock responses. However I don't recall an issue that wasn't resolved by ebay. No special packaging though. Your standard cardboard mailer.
