It's unheralded and there was no promotion in fliers or any newsletter.
In contrary to the most other MM exclusive it's not for sale online.

I don't buy into these "this is a mega rare Media Markt release and my market only received half a copy". I read the same thing about "Boondock Saints" which was supposed to be sold out on release day and is still available in MM or "Coriolanus" which was "mega-limited" and not to be found in any store - it's still there and the price has just dropped. We all know there are at least 4000 copies of "The Core", probably much closer to 10.000 and maybe somebody shipped it to a store early and that's why it is rare for a few days - soon it will be in all MM stores - and for a long time too!

No one said it's rare! It's a steel like most of the MM steels.
It was just a reply to Carlos' question: "Still do not see for sale" with the basic content the Media Saturn group doesn't run a national advertising.

soon it will be in all MM stores - and for a long time too!

If the head of the purchasing department or his authorized representative is ordering the steels and it will be allocated by the center of distribution (in Ingolstadt) they will have it in stock for sure (sooner or later)!

great movie..but disappointed with the cover..i would have prefer their original dvd cover art

Not a bad looking steel. The movie is a modern day homage for the cheesy 50's and 60's sci-fi. Thanks for the post.
