I don't get why they are releasing this and Batman Begins NOW. Why don't they just wait until they can release Dark Knight Rises as a Steelbook too?

But I guess they will then release Dark Knight Rises-Steelbook and a Steelbook containing the whole trilogy.

They sure are milking the customers.

I am sure they will do yet another round of Steels when Rises come out on BR. They are milking this like crazy. I am still on the fence about the new Begins Steel, as I already bought the regular BR. Also I got BOTH versions of Dark Knight (which they are the same art with and without the blue bar on top!). If this become just the same art again, I would rather pay that $5 to see the movie than to actually buy another copy of the same steel!

Don't like the bat cycle or the newspaper-copy white joker. The art on the Caballero Oscuro Spanish DVDs is cool, especially the joker.

This will definitely hold true for me for Nolan's Batman films. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are my most owned Steelbooks at the moment and more variants are still being released it seems.

I just saw something interesting in my local HMV. They have re-released BB & TDK amrays with the Japan art. They are white and have a matching slip.

They didn't have the triple play banner and are £10 in store. I'm starting to think the FS release will be the white steels.

a tenner each instore I was looking at them yesterday, they look nice enough, the amarays coverart is the same, I expected them to have new slips over the old amarays but they match the slips...

If these futureshop ones turn out to be nice - (I dont care what design, just nice lol) I'll be looking for a favour from a Canadian I dont have either film in a steelbook, I saw the recent best buy ones and was gonna ask a friend in the states to gram em for me but the lack of inner artwork is a let down.. hopefully if they turn out nice and theres some kind of group buy I can jump aboard...
