Well after owning the best buy version of The Dark Knight for over a year with it dings and paint chips (delivered that way) this I had to have with it's great new front and back art work, inside art work and a better finish

According to ricster's post, the UK BB has a better finish than the US, so there's that. I'm wondering if anyone can confirm that the UK TDK also has a better finish than the US.
Honestly brings a tear to my eye as to how perfect this trilogy is. Thank you Christoper Nolan. I love the first two Burton movies and the gothic style he brought to them but christ these movies give me goosebumps. I was listening to the Dark knight rises soundtrack the other day and felt a lump in my throat. I triple dipped on these UK editions in a heartbeat. I cannot wait til my son and daughter are of the perfect age to sit down and appreciate these with me. Dark Knight Rises get's a bit of a hard rep as a follow up to The Dark Knight but it is an emotional and fantastic closer to the trilogy. Bane is terrifying on screen and There is a lot of heart throughout.

These u.k batman's look awesome inside artwork on all of them as well as outside the whole set looks great together specially the classic flicks
my favorite would be the Christopher Nolan trilogy love tim burtons batman's but nolans are the BEST!!!

there's a fault in the collection manager for this release ... it shows the picture of batman begins .. so if someone could adjust this

not much difference(jalmost ust a slightly different tone of colors) except the finish
you should see by the video which one is zero finish(uk one) and which one is matte(us one) cause the one with the zeron finish reflects the light .
i ll add another difference after posting the video, so that you can say which one is which just by looking at this difference,lol

the finish might not be as good(to my taste at least) than the french one* but it's still pretty better than the US/matte one for me

I have both the US and the UK versions. While the UK one is easily the better version, there is something slightly disappointing about it. Someone has amateurishly added extra shadows all over batman on the cover. It is most noticeable on his face, chest and stomach. Its not a deal-breaker for me. But it looks kind of lame if you look closely at it. I really wish they hadn't done this.
i'm pretty sure that if there's less to see( details because of the fact it's darker) it is just due to the fact that it is overall darker, you can look at the building, it's clearly clearer on the US one
On the UK version, the only part that has been "touched up" is Batman himself. If you compare the Amazon.com image and the Amazon.co.uk image, you can see what I mean. It's like someone took a sharpie and crudely added more shadows all over him (especially his face).
Like I said, its not a dealbreaker. But I'd really like to know why they did that.
i understand what you mean, but i jsut don't see it, the only thing i see is that everything on the uk one is darker( as if it was a different exposition in photography) sorry
the matte/us one doesn't have a shining effect(except the burning part) whereas the uk/zero finish one has shining effect
not sure cause i don't have the DE one anymore, but i thin that the uk one has an even stronger shining effect than the DE one.
