Looks good. What are people complaining about German text? I don't see any German lettering.

There is actually german writing on top of the title, it says :"Ein Film von Christopher Nolan", but you really need to concentrate in order to read it, because its written in the same font as the credits on the back

I also received the steelbook today and I'm very disappointed... no glossy finish, boring backcover and the inside artwork could be better, too.

Just a wasted potential in my opinion... :(

I think I will also buy the german digibook version of the movie - it look sooo much better!

It's a good thing for me.

I've Batman Begins and TDK (Canadian releases) with no glossy finish, so I don't want TDKR with glossy finish.

I hope one day a Premium Edition (white) more than that.

But I agree that the backcover and the inside artwork are not great.

I can't believe what these are selling for now.

From Amazon merchants they start at over €50 and go up to €117. And on ebay the BIN prices are €40-50. That's nearly as much as the trilogy box set!

Was the print run particularly small on this one?

I actually received this today, even though I cancelled weeks ago. I was very puzzled when I saw the Amazon box as I knew I didn't have any orders with Amazon Germany.

Just checked my Amazon account and no order exists.

Was hoping Amazon decided to send it to me for free, but Amazon have charged me for it. :hilarious: EEK!

Has this ever happened to anyone else with a cancelled order with Amazon?

In stock right now, though with a quantity restriction of 1. As an amazon exclusive I'm sure it will go permanently OOS at some point, but it wouldn't surprise me if they restock a few times before then.

:scat: cool wasn't available earlier but yeah agree this might not be in stock for long.

looks like its unavailable again, that didn't take long lol

I ordered a couple of these and split the order with the Spiderman Trilogy steelbook and the Butterfly Effect digibook. They shipped Spiderman and Butterfly Effect with tracking, but then they shipped TDKR with no tracking. Kind of ticks me off because this is sold out now so if it never arrives, I'm out of the steelbooks. I guess that is a byproduct of the cheaper shipping?

FYI
the ones available on the Amazon.de Marketplace for over 100 euros are the broken cowl edition which was not released in German
it seems to be the US version
so 40 euros incl. delivery to Germany Plus a 70 euro min mark up ...
now thats funny
