I can't recall Warner ever having embossed/debossed a Steelbook before so that's unlikely I think
I can't recall it either, but one can only hope right! lol
Well good thing is other than the French TDKR steelbook all covers were the same as the HMV version, at least this is very different 
I think this artwork looks fantastic, just like the German Digibook. I prefer it to the original release.
really don't feel the artwork. it just don't catch the message and vibe of this metaphorical masterpiece. the first artwork bring it straight to the point without showing to much and still catching the epicness. the new artwork maybe would be ok for a pure action flick with small story but not for an deep and symbolic character like batman. the new artwork simply underrate this movie imo.

I loved the first release. Was simple, and effective, the new one is fresh and nice to see a change will be nice to see the back and inside.
