I just like quality collectibles. I like the best and I'm more than willing to pay top dollar for it. But I don't like payin up for a lazy half a$$ed effort. I don't think being in California has much to do with it.

what i mean is that it's unbelievable that they released this with no update on the artwork. this is a steelbook collectible that they expect people to pay more for, and by now they must know how bonkers everybody gets over the artwork choice, and yet... nothing.

i think that's lame.

It's a fair point.

I don't think WB (or most steelbook releasing studios) think it'll make much difference whether their releases have inside art or not, and certainly not enough to advertise it as a selling point. Loads of steelbooks sell out that don't have inside art (I don't care either way). Play's Iron Man and IM2 sold out even though the artwork was in the wrong release.

Of course, this is the same WB that's decided to do a totally missmatched cover for Batman Forever on its steelbook release even though all 4 matched on the last DVD and Blu-ray releases.

I check my amazon status on a Sunday as that's when I get the emails
And they ship twice through the night once to one depot then to my nearest depot,
After that I check the status and it says with courier and I ALWAYS get them Monday morning or on release day.. But I wait in on a Monday and there here by
Midday..so prime is good..if your in or about

inception UK, DE and JP weren't (i got them), don't know about the CA re released in usa and then DE, never got it
anyways, my point is that almost none of their steels released so far are glossy

Argo!?! Glossy, and the UK one seems to be in a kind of warner wave with these Dark knights (Same Backing slips) I still have hopes for glossy treatment/inside artwork in the original ones.
