They've been doing it for a while, starting with The Last Stand. As long as people will keep buying, they'll keep at it. *shrugs*

We don't always agree, but you're right on the money there.

As soon as I saw the artwork, and realized it was the same steelbook in both, and the Czech one to boot, I asked to cancel my requests.

Would be halfway acceptable if the slips were made available separately for 1 and 2 -- as they are marked that way, and frankly the UK steels are far superior to this one.

I disagree about the UK steels being superior to this. IMO they UK steels are boring whereas I really like this one. The German Steelbook however for the DC of the first movie is great.

Of course there will always be pros and cons with these kind of things and I do feel that FA are being quite cheeky with this one as it's an obvious attempt to make some quick cash cash. The mock up for the slips don't exactly look great but no doubt they will have some good finishing touches to them which will make them stand out. I like actual Steelbook but as I've said previously I would've preferred to have seen individual steels.

The better steelbooks are the German ones for the first and second movies as well as the French one for the third movie.

Personally I'm not encouraging these tactics, specially that the steelbook is meh and the slips artworks are average at best (that's me being nice).

FAC fanboys/girls rejoice, you got a couple more editions available to grab :p

i think despite some average releases the did some really good ones. Krampus, X-Men Apocalypse, Maze Runner, JW, Looper, i really like the Fantastic Four one. Am i overwhelmed with all releases by the other retailers? No.
For myself i really like the releases from FA. Although the could slow down a little bit

I think the problem is Film Arena are doing more bad ones than good ones these days. A lot of their interesting WEA projects have been put on the back burner whilst they continue to churn out rubbish like this.
