What, with the bilingual spine? No thanks.

As it's the spines I see every day on the shelf, I know where my loyalties lie.

My thoughts exactly. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't display my steelbooks open anyway, so I'd rather have a decent spine.

Cheap ass HMV missed the boat again with this one. Lazy design aswell. Stoopid skull design front AND Back?? No characters from the film present at all. Easy pass for me too.

I'm holding out high hopes for the German release now. At least some embossing/Lenticular effect!

The design is nothing to do with HMV... that's down to Lionsgate.

HMV have sold some of the best steels in UK...i.e. Thor...captain america...true grit..green hornet...cowboys n aliens....people need to remember its the film distributor that produces the steel...i for one welcome and appreciate HMV exclusives esp as they are our only bluray steelbook selling retailer on the high street

It's true that HMV have produced some stunners, a lot of those tend to be worldwide releases. Most retailers are the same, some stunners, some turkeys, the rest are ok. I only try and pick up the stunners these days, but even that takes effort, more effort than I think it's worth sometimes.

For this steelbook, easy pass for me, now to decide if to get the canadian or german, if any at all (need to stop falling into the trap of owning a steelbook for every film released)

Thor, Captain America, True Grit, Cowboys etc.....all those titles you mentioned above might have been 'exclusive' to HMV but could be bought openly in many other countries.

However HMV's own Drive, Hunger Games, Expendables etc....that were exclusive to HMV and not available anywhere else, these are always the ones that are the let downs.

Amazing how it's always only the titles that are exclusive to the store that are cheaply produced and over priced. Great high street value my ass.

I wouldn't say Drive was a let down! And i got it for £12 which is a bargain for a steelbook.
