Either way. It's going to be expensive.
It'll be that WWA 4k artwork presumably?
WWA Steelbook correct, I think it will be 1 box set containing the Trilogy
No way... I already started buying the Manta slips, and signed up for a set of custom slips in obnoxious gold and wraparound lenticulars, to put those separate steels in, and now we get a proper Blufans Boxset!
OAB is always the WWA isn't it?
Seems like a really dumb move for premium retailers to put out the same sets at the same time.
Especially if they're already existing WWA. Then again, there are always completionists for Premium retailers and collectors wanting multiple versions of each films.
Personally, I'm quite interested as it would be an upgrade for me over the blu rays I still own. I completely forgot about the Manta sets and very likely now, the after marketplaces will be at £100+ a pop on release, I'll think I will take a miss with ol'Manta Lab on these.
Let's see what price point the BFs set will come out at.
I'm guessing it'll be £250-299.

You can buy both of the first two for $99 each from that Blu-rays for Everyone guy, which is the GB price from the 'other forum'. With such group buy prices I find it better trying to order direct, then pay same as GB if unsuccessful...
If there was only one set of steelbooks, it'll be the same steelbooks.
Wait a minute. You bought an edition that's not only wraparound art but lenticular wraparound art? Don't you feel you've become the very thing you swore to destroy?
Well, in my defense, that particular art makes sense and works separately on each side, plus it's removable, on magnets, so the slip boxes can be used without them...
At this point we're not only not buying the movies anymore, we're not even buying the steelbooks, but only the slips and cards... and maybe, just maybe, they're not worth it?
I mean I've been making my own photocards for various movies, and they're on 350mg cardboard, dual-sided, with soft-touch layer, and only cost like $0.50 cents each. Can order photobooklets, slips as well, things like that, just didn't yet.
And they're going to be with the art/photos I want.
So when does this stop being collecting, and begins being just a waste of money, space, and materials, that we look at once upon arriving, don't even open (most of us), put away and probably never see again, or even forget we have them?
...anyways, when's the Preorder again?

hmm, might give it a second guess (despite the back covers) since the disappointment of the Manta steelbooks and the price looks sane.
