So pissed right now, I managed to get this off eBay from a seller with excellent feedback, he's posted it out but the tracking says delivered but not to me!!! My regular postie was off that week and some other douche has delivered it to someone else to God knows where

Not a day seems to go by where I don't have to swap letters with my neighbours who've received the wrong mail. Postmen are hopeless.

That's also a nightmare for the seller aswell.

My neighbours are pretty cool and will happily take in packages for me but this one is a mystery as no one lives anywhere close by the name that's signed for it! I've had to open an eBay case to try and get a refund but will also take my findings to the local depot to see if they can get to the bottom of it.

If you have a name then the postman should have recorded which address signed for the package on his device, so they should be able to confirm it at the depot. As a last resort it might be worth speaking to the police, as I would think it's technically theft. They probably won't do anything but you just never know if you catch them in a good mood I'd be seriously wounded as that's an expensive item, hope you get it back buddy. Steve

Quality control issues on the gold slip, scuff marks and missing paint on the black slip (that goes over gold slip) at least for me and several others. Blufans has been a little better since then though.

I can confirm that for at least my pieces: perfect matching and finish everywhere.
Glad to have both, couldnt really pick just one..

You must have been lucky, pretty much all the gold copies had some damages on them.

I've seen many pics of gold copies and didn't see any defects. The gold one is the version to go with for sure.

Having both releases in my hands from minimizing the "possible defects" point of view I'd go with the black version: here there is non need to check with the linings, matches, colors, BUt again I've never seen any defected gold version, so if anyone is in love with this movie like i do it is a must having both

To be Honest I prefer my Red Play.com steel over my Blufans, I thought the steel was dull and matte finish with no embossing or debossing. But I love the Card set and slip and front cover. Overall a good package for the 100 I spent and my 2 favorite movies of all time.

finally got the gold one.. looks a lot nicer than the black one.. but lots of quality issues on the plastic slip as well :-/
