PS in the pics it looks like the steel can only hold two discs but thee are 3 films and the desc says 4 discs.

I'm trying hard to resist buying. As a collector, buying the black edition means buying the gold edition is a must. USD160 for effectively two steelbooks (regardless its three movies) is a tad above my acceptance range.

I totally understand what you mean, I already have them on blu too (the normal boxset as I sold Play's one a while ago) but really price aside the movies are my fav gangster trilogy and Blufans have done them justice so these will be THE best versions in steelbook out there period, I will not pass on them & regret later especially for something of this quality
