Too expensive in my opinion. Allready have the trilogy on Blu-ray. If the price would be like Alien I'd consider it (I'd probably allready pre-ordered it then ). And it's a customs risk for me too.

Oktober will probably get other nice Steelbook releases I think I'll keep my money for those

I don't think there has ever been a UK G1 release on blu ray, I could be wrong. But I'd say there is zero chance of this being G1.

Fast and Furious 1-4 edition. Looked as ugly as all hell along with the Doctor Who one

Shame that Play are on such a re-release kick. I'd far prefer to see new (contemporary) titles to double/triple dips...

Ah well - enjoy, those that are going for it.

I'll see if I can sell my box set before I buy this... The price is a bit high and possibly a jumbo (unless they use the new case like alien), so im not gonna pre order yet

Might have to pass on this one. I've attempted to watch the first film twice (weeks, if not months apart) and fell asleep both times, which is very rare for me to do. Although, if the steelbook is nice enough, then it might be a good enough reason for me to give it another shot I suppose.

As long as it's a G2 like the Alien Anthology, then I'm definitely in for this. In fact, it was the first release I asked for in the Alien thread, once the 4 disc G2's were revealed.

Separate releases aren't needed, this is very much a trilogy.

i put my US trilogy blus to the G1 steelbook from amazon uk, so i'll skip this.
why is this so expensive? maybe any differences on the disc?
US version have the mono audio, the UK version doesn't.

+1 on that. I deliberately held off purchasing the Godfather, hoping that someone would release this in Steelbook form. Even when Amazon dropped it to $20 I resisted. This looks like perfect timing, seeing as Scanavo have now successfully introduced their 4 Disc G2.
