So I finally opened mine Christmas morning, after a long wait.


One of the most under appreciated steelbooks for sure, love the design.

I received this today. Watching it right now. My copy was pristine on the outside. No chips, scratches. Tip for anyone opening these: The glue comes off of the back easier the longer it's sealed.

No paint chips on the back of mine.

A slight crease on the front near the spine but I've got worse and for the amount I'm going to sit and stare at it I can't say I'm all that bothered.

I've just spent the best part of 20 mins looking for paint chips that aren't there:

A few tiny holes in the shrink wrap (like JC FS, which funnily enough is similar colour), but that's it.

So very happy.

Know that feeling well. Have had loads with slashed spines unfortunately.

The shrink often has minute holes in them sadly.

I am no professional, I'm doing this for fun. Lately there were absolutely no free time to make or process photos, but now it looks like I will be soon back on track. Anyway, several months' worth of photos are in my queue, that about half a hundred, maybe.

Agreed. You should sell your skills to the these retailers. I guarantee they will see a rise in sales.

It's permanently OOS with Play as they have now ceased direct retail sales and are solely a marketplace for 3rd party sellers.

I'm not trying to rub it in or anything guys, but this is one of my favourite steelbooks, if you can yourself a copy (even if it's second hand) for between £20-25, I would go for it.


It's one of those you pick from your shelf every so often, and you've forgotten at how smart it is.
