It's very annoying

I had an order direct with Arrow
They over ordered and cancelled my order
I then had an order with Amazon UK
It says order received, but no indication of when it will be dispatched

Is it safe to say they will also eventually cancel my order

Amazon hasn't dispatched mine yet either. and i ordered in June.

the last few items i ordered from them also all dispatched well after release day though.

can confirm that spamming refresh on my order page hasn't helped yet

I’m rather annoyed I spend a heap of money with zavvi and I order this good bad ugly 4K limited set I also had 7 other orders, not only did they make we wait from two weeks to a month actually track, they say dispatch but not picked up.
And suddenly some over 3 weeks with them finally on there way.
But guess what the one I wanted most is lost so they say the good bad ugly.
This really annoys me as not only did I order from day one it’s now missing from my collection I now wish I purchased a back up copy elsewhere but I was not expecting this.
And why was this one so quick to sell out?
I got the other two so easily but then they was also ordered from day one,
I dont suppose anyone ordered a spare copy

I think there were a lot of retailers who over sold stock on The Good The Bad and subsequently there's been cancellations all over the place.
I'm guessing here, so take this with a pinch of salt: i feel there are a lot more fans for just this film, compared to fans/collectors who would prefer to have the complete Trilogy as one set. Maybe this is one reason it sold must faster than the first two films. Could be that the extra month or so Arrow took to produce this Box set compared to the others, could have built wider buyer numbers, bringing in larger pre orders.
Also, don't discount scalpers; these chumps know a popular film when they see it; knowing it'll sell well, buy up larger numbers to flog at higher margins in a couple of weeks or months. There's always that.

Unfortunately it seems the only way to get hold of this now is via ebay at inflated prices..
No 'good' prices, just 'bad' and 'ugly' ones...

Limited versions. No. I don't think I've ever seen Arrow do that unless it's for a Blu Ray to UHD after a couple of years.

They have the single versions available though.

No the limited editions are sold out

Arrow will always release standard editions (AKA special editions) after the limited editions have sold out

You can get standard editions for all 3 films from arrow films store and other retailers Amazon UK/Zavvi/HMV etc

The difference with standard editions also known as special editions is they are just amaray case with reversible sleeve featuring original and newly commissioned artwork
Discs included will be the same with exception of discs that was a limited edition exclusive will not be included
The standard editions don’t include slipcover or booket or poster

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly standard edition does not include Sad Hill Unearthed Blu-ray Disc as that was exclusive to the Limited Edition
