It actually did. It was just very far in toward the center. The framing of the pic is like a border, technically.

It's back cover had no border. Maybe they could do something like this with the front of the Goonies??

Possible but my money would be on a standard border. Also Roger Rabbit did have a border, it was just further in and took on the shape of the frame as part of the picture. I don't see how this artwork could do something similar.

I think The Expendables 1 & 2 combo from Czech Republic did.

I agree, I think this will be standard border/title embossing like Argo/The Town.

It looks as though the artwork is struggling to fit on the steel as it is, a border would distort this even further. So my vote is no border on this!

If it has to sacrifice the embossing then so be it!

Why all the hate on the border

Some people are really picky! You cannot please everyone but ultimately some people just like to complain! Seriously!

Calm down, 1. We want the film in steel, 2. It has decent artwork 3. Hopefully think finish is nice.

Embossing, debossing or non at all really doesn't matter! My opinion of course!

I can see the hate on for the border, once in awhile would not be a bad thing, but its on every release, and sometimes it does nothing but bend the image. Also it sometimes messes with the art. I think when its on every release it looks generic, I have pretty much said most of this before, but I can see both points of view.
