I doubt it will in the flesh. The artwork of the Japanese version is nice, but the finish is awful and the colours look completely washed out. It also costs quite a lot more than the Zavvi version. I guess I would share your opinion if I bought the Japanese release just before the Zavvi one was announced

RMP's is much better as theres more detail on the rocks and the map below. Plus i like the positioning of the title better as at the moment the bottom right hand side of the steel is to bare. But hey at least Zavvi have made improvements.

Doubt they will change it again.

Although it does look like Zavvis version has had some serious DNR applied to it compared with RMP777s version, Weres the detail gone?

I agree completely. Not a fan of all of the empty space in the zavvi version. Oh well - ordered anyway...

Good on Zavvi for listening! With that said, the custom looks better, except for the maroon font. The Zavvi has too much empty space and the characters look squished.

I completely agree that's what I had in my head the rock/spikes look better more detailed in brown rather than blacked out there's still a lot of plain black at the top of the zavvi img that's not in the custom.
The map below pops a little more and you see more of it more detail again, as for the title yes a much better place to have it as for the colour it's fine too although I would be open to others.
The yellow name on the spine is much better also imho.

I agree. Everyone screams embossed and glossy for everything when sometimes it just doesn't suit it.
