You got to just love Zavvi's world class postage. And yes, it IS Zavvi's fault. They are choosing to post items 6th Class.

Don't know why some are making a fuss. They ship by the cheapest option which is 3-5 working days. Even my Amazon orders nowadays takes 5 working days, so I can expect more or less the same with other retailers. Same as us sending out something we sell here or elsewhere.

Ah but at least Amazon give you options for faster delivery for a certain price.

Zavvi give you no option. They basically say "you are getting it for free delivery so shut up and wait 7 days!"

It doesn't really make a difference to me when I get it because it'll be a while until I watch it but I don't think from a customer service POV it's not a very professional way to do business as it hasn't arrived on the release date.

I know Zavvi aren't the only ones guilty of it but it seems the last couple of weeks this has happened a few times with them. Iron Man 3, Olympus has Fallen, The Prestige and Gremlins I believe have all arrived/are arriving late.

In my experience the point of a pre order is to get it on (before if you're lucky) the release date. The least they can do is send out an email apologising for any delays IMO. Like I said it's not a personal attack on Zavvi as it's common across other retailers.

I send most of my parcels 2nd class and the most they ever take is 3 working days. But the problem here is that Zavvi have sent them out too late. They sent the Prestige on Friday meaning the first sign of it will likely be Wednesday.

You're OK, you're in the UK. You don't have to wait over TWO WEEKS for delivery for a regular order like the rest of Europe

So if you send few ebay parcels by second class and if the buyer leaves you a negative feedback for slow postage and no fault of yours would you agree?

Most of the Zavvi pre-orders till date have shown up prior to or on the release date which is not the case with Amazon and other retailers. There habr been loads of moaning about how poor the service has been for Prime members who pay for it.
