Zavvi didn't scratch and dent your steelbook. You opened it. That shows intent to watch the blu ray media. I don't know of any store that would replace used media.

I have never once returned an item once I opened it. I suppose u expect any ebayer to refund you once you open it if you find a dent or scratch underneath the paper card. Its impossible to know if it has scratches or not until its unsealed.

A damaged product is a damaged product.

I would expect any retailer to replace a damaged, unsealed steelbook when the damage is visible only after opening the seal, e.g. under the J-card or slip cover. And when this has happened to me, they have replaced steelbooks every time, without fail.

Mind you, they are not under obligation to accept a return of an unsealed Blu-ray steelbook, only to replace the faulty item.

No, I wouldn't expect a refund from an eBay seller in this case, unless they are an official retailer (e.g., Zavvi outlet, Entertainment Store). That's why I never open my steelbooks purchased off eBay, or I just won't worry about what I will find under the J-card

I took the sticker off the shrink and placed it on the back since it was blank. Normal steelbook is just black with credits on the back.

Really disappointed with this one...

Full gloss would have made it acceptable. Not a fan of this streaky matte + spot gloss trend. Maybe they'll release a nice digibook/pack.

I feel like a scrooge every time I post but I guess I'm just a picky bastard.

Edit: metallic shine through... Even worse.

I'm sorry but this is just meh, I'd rather have the 3 steels seperately or have a steelbook come out with this artwork, with the wolf logo and credits on back.

yes it does. same place on both steelbboks with paint missing on first copy....

I received mine from amazon few days ago, and it had no scratches or anything.

I was a bit afraid at first as it came just in a cardboard box with no cushion or anything, and all the way from UK to Finland. Makes me a bit worried to order steelbooks from amazon in the future thought. All steelbooks i have ordered from Zavvi so far has had good cushions.

Just now looking at the smaller version of my scan, does everyone else's front art seem off center? Look at the spacing between the letters and the embossed border. Seems closer to the left than the right..

Hi lee, I did post about this and Amazon a few pages back. I had the same issues. The second copy has lesser damage so I dabbed a bit of marker and it's gone.

Went to amazon chat and they gave me £3 back and then I sold the UV for £6, so it made the defect a little bit more bearable.

iTs all under the J Card, so only an issue for us folk that open our steels!

Girlfriend got me this for Christmas, front looks great, horrible scratches on back, disgusting they're still selling these, it's literally like it's been dragged across a gravel floor. Would be too rude to ask for receipt so stuck with it. At least the back has nothing in it anyways. My advice for this steel would be to buy it already open

actually managed to get a mint copy in the end. have to say, even though i had to have a refund in the end from them, amazon's customer service was second to none!!
