It's good that TWC has licensed this film to a host of different distributors for its international releases. It means that collectors will be spoilt for choice with Steelbook releases already announced for the US, Germany, France, Scandinavia, Korea and now Italy. Each having the potential for its own exclusive artwork.
Anyone considering obtaining the Italian release, however, should be aware that previous Steelbooks from 01 Distribution have had printed backs and no inside artwork.
With the UK distribution rights being held by EiV, renowned for lacklustre releases, it's perhaps no surprise that no announcement has yet been made of a future UK Steelbook edition. I'll be very disappointed if the UK does indeed dip out on this title.
We can tell this movie will have WWA so .... I just need to find the most cost effective steelbook release to add to my Tarantino collection. JB HiFi hasn't shown their final artwrok so I'm hoping to source it locally.
